Heart broken...I missed this year...very very very upset...I prepared as much as possible from my part ( are you ?? no, you didn't do your best..this can't be your best attempt anyway..) I know I have some time, still two attempts remain ( actually 5, but I decide, I will not take advantage being an OBC by birth.. I never get anything in quota in my entire career, so why for prestigious civil service???)  Well, don't lose heart maina... you have nothing to lose.. Agar kuch hai, to wo sirf tumhe pana hai...so, keep up the same spirit and start afresh.. remember, ''Winners never quit, Quitters never win''..

Reading ''TURNING POINTS- A Journey through Challenges'' by A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. Kalam's write-up always inspires me a lot. I simply love his hymn on courage---
                                 Courage to think different,
                                 Courage to invent,
Courage to travel on an unexplored path,
                                 Courage to discover the impossible,
Courage to combat problems and succeed...

Thanks to flipkart.com for whom books come so easily to my hand :)

A write-up can solve many problems...If it happens, the write-up may demand its credibility. The 15th August issue of Dainik Janambhumi published an article ''Potoka Silua Agoraki Manuh'' in its editorial page. Our sub-editor Tridib Nilim Dutta wrote that article about a woman 'Purnima Deka' who earns a little money( only get Rs 2000 in the time of republic day and independence day, otherwise get just Rs. 600 per month, can you believe it!!!) by stitching our National Flag in the office of Khadi and Gramodyog Board. She is struggling her whole life just to eat two times in a day, caring her ill husband and elder son. She is 50 now, but looks like an old woman. She has no fun in her life. With gradually lowering eye-power, she is in fear to loose her only source of bread and butter. How pity !!! We obtained only political freedom. Without being independent by economically, we are not independent, no....But still a ray of hope is waiting for her. Good news-- a rtd. IAS officer comes forward and willing to bear all the expenses of the cataract operation of Purnima Deka. The whole article brought tears in my eyes. I am going to give her a radio set, since she loved to listen music once. I request Khadi Board to please give Purnima Deka and her 8 colleagues a good salary so that they can get proper food and nutrition. They may be casual workers in your office, but their responsibilities are not casual...
